The Sixth Annual Juried Members’ Exhibition
We are pleased to present this juried selection of work from 36 of our current members to celebrate their passions, and share their accomplishments. This is one of three annual Member exhibitions we will host in 2025, continuing our mission to provide a platform for our members to share their work and foster their growth. Members were invited to submit up to five photographs to be reviewed on their individual merits by this year’s juror, Emily Belz. We encourage you to take a little time to enjoy our members efforts. Work on exhibit is available to take home at the time of purchase…

From the Juror: Emily Belz
I always feel honored when asked to look at the work of other artists and select, what I hope, is an exhibition of images that speaks on both an individual and collective level. In making my selections for RICPA’s 6th Annual Juried Member Exhibition, I first considered each piece on it’s own, and then how I could bring the works together to fill the gallery with connections and conversations—some perhaps more evident, others perhaps taking a longer look to parse out and appreciate. It’s pure joy for me to thread together and curate associations among images by different makers, on different themes, and using different techniques. The range among the works submitted was impressive, and the decisions, both considered and difficult. Please take a look, and as I often say to my students, “follow along with me and see what you discover.” Thank you to all the artists who submitted work for this call, and to David DeMelim for inviting me to be a part of the RICPA community.
