In addition to our regular programing… we will be exploring half-frame photography and offering a photowalk around Providence.

September 5th is World Wide Half-Frame Photography Day!  

Learn about this alternative 35mm format, meet at the gallery for coffee and join us for an afternoon photowalk around Providence. We are providing a Half-Frame camera to share, to give everyone the opportunity participate. Bring a half-frame camera if you have one, or whatever camera you normally shoot with. Register for the free Photowalk, leaving from the gallery at 3:00pm

Come for Coffee, Conversation and to Share the joys, (and challenges) of Analog Photography, & a Half-Frame photowalk.

 

Open to Members, and Prospective Members, who are working with film, or other analog photographic process. This program runs on the first Saturday of the month, and offers participants the opportunity to share their work, their knowledge, and their resources. The program also provides the opportunity for short presentations by members or invited presenters.

Bring some work to share, the latest camera you built, or an update on whatever analog process you are currently exploring. We are also looking to expand our listing of related resources for film, chemistry, and service providers.
