A new Call for Entries: Unprecedented: Life in 2020
In place of our previously scheduled April – May exhibition we have launched our second online Open Call for work related to these unprecedented times. Work need not address COVID-19 directly but should be images taken since your regular routine was interrupted.
The Call is Free and Open to Everyone interested in participating.
We are looking for photographs taken during this interruption to regularly scheduled life.
Email your entries to: email@example.com with Unprecedented: Life in 2020 as the subject. Please include a statement with your entry as well as a link to your Social Media or website if you have one… Statements need only be location or why you though to take the picture, something to fix the image in time for a viewer who wasn’t present.
We will be posting selections online weekly in an ongoing effort to support and challenge our members and followers.
We will be launching several more calls with themes in reaction to the “interesting” times we find ourselves in. So I encourage all of you to check our website at riphotocenter.org often and keep your camera handy. Documenting all aspects of this new reality is important… and don’t forget to follow us on social media @RIPhotoArts.

Located in the heart of Providence, RICPA was founded to inspire creative development and provide opportunities to engage with the community through exhibitions, education, publication, and mutual support.
RICPA exists to create a diverse and supportive community for individuals interested in learning or working in the Photographic Arts. We strive to provide an environment conducive to the free exchange of ideas in an open and cooperative space. Members should share a passion for creating, appreciating, or learning about all forms of photo-based media. We work to provide a platform for artistic expression, that fosters dialogue and drives innovation in the photographic arts.
