The show features a selection of work from travels in Cuba and presents impressions of Island life in a country with its future perpetually on hold. Produced in both high contrast and continuous tone photographs, the show is a look at urban life and living conditions in Trinidad, Havana and several other locals in Cuba. The show attempts to convey a sense of everyday life in Cuba, skipping over the romantic notions, focusing instead on the resilience and optimism of the Cuban People.
David splits his time between design and photography projects while also serving as the Managing Director of the Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts. All proceeds from sales of work in this exhibition will go to supporting the Photo Center.
