Entry is has closed for our 6th Annual Juried Member Exhibition.

Thank you also to all the members who submitted work, everyone who entered will be emailed directly on out Wednesday, 3/12 with the status of their entries. The list of members with work to be included is posted below. Check your email for delivery details and to learn which individual photographs were invited.

This exhibition has no theme other than to present the work of our members in a gallery exhibition. Entry is open to all forms of photography and subject matter new or old. This is a chance to explore or revisit work that may not fit an ongoing project or be part of your regular practice… a chance to preview new work, or a chance to share old favorites.

About the Juror: Emily Belz
Emily Belz is an independent photographer and educator based in Lincoln, MA. Her photographs focus on domestic still lifes, telling stories through the traces, objects, and slants of light that have been left behind. Belz has exhibited her photographs widely in both solo and group exhibitions. She is represented by Gallery Kayafas in Boston.
Belz holds a BA in photography and art history from Hampshire College (1997); an MA in community-based art education from the Rhode Island School of Design (2009); and an MFA from the New Hampshire Institute of Art (2017). She teaches classes and workshops at the Griffin Museum of Photography (Winchester, MA) and the deCordova Museum (Lincoln, MA), and is on the faculty at Lasell University (Newton, MA). Belz works privately with artists as a mentor and specializes in reviewing and sequencing portfolios.
With 20+ years in the art world, Belz brings this experience to her role as a juror for photography competitions, and as a reviewer for regional portfolio reviews. She enjoys curating exhibitions in collaboration with emerging artists in the Boston area.

One Member will be awarded a Solo Show in The Focus Gallery in 2026
Entry for up to five images is Free for Exhibiting & Supporting Members, $25 for Student and Community Members. Memberships can be purchased at time of entry. Membership starts by registering at https://www.riphotocenter.org/registration/. Entries are being accepted through February 24th.
