Karen Haas shares a curator’s perspective on jurying, portfolio reviews and some of the thought processes behind mounting an exhibition.
Karen Haas is the Lane Curator of Photographs at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where she is responsible for a large collection of photographs by American modernists, Charles Sheeler, Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, and Imogen Cunningham. In addition to managing the Lane Collection, she is actively involved in curating exhibitions for the Museum and has published a number of books on Photography.
